Heritage on the Hill in Margaretting (Chelmsford), is a great venue with two large function suites. Both rooms are spaced quite far apart from each other so you don't get two different groups of guests bumping into each other all the time. One suite is in the main building, with the other a little further down the drive in a nice location with nice surroundings. It's about 2 minutes from the A12 and about 5 minutes away from the A414.

Situated 4 miles west of Chelmsford in Roxwell, just off of the A1060. Newland Hall is a beautiful old cottage looking venue which is very busy with Wedding receptions throughout the year. The scenery and surroundings at Newland's makes it the perfect Wedding venue all year round.

Channels is the perfect Wedding venue located in Little Waltham, just off of the A130. The main suite is a 17th century thatched Essex barn with great character, which makes it the perfect Wedding reception venue. After going to my cousins Wedding their in October 2011, I couldn't praise the venue and staff enough. Everything ran smoothly from the moment we got there, right up until the disco had finished. Could not say one bad word about this venue.

The Leez Priory is a beautiful church venue which has inside and outside marriage ceremonies. As far as Wedding venues go, I'm not sure you find one better than this in the Essex area. This magnificent Tudor mansion is also the winner of Wedding Ideas Magazine's ‘Best Wedding Venue’ two years running in 2007 and 2008.

Pontlands Park is located on West Hanningfield Road, Great Baddow, Chelmsford. Sitting right next to the A12 it's easy for all your guests to get to.
