Wedding at Crondon Park

The Wedding last night at Crondon Park was for a girl called Chloe. I had previously DJ'ed Chloe's 18th birthday party about 6 years ago.

I got to the venue at 6.30pm as requested and was quickly in setting up as the staff had just finished clearing the tables. It does usually take me about 45 minutes to set-up but the Maitre D' had said to me that they wanted to cut the cake at 7.00pm and shortly after that do the first dance. I quickly got my gear in and started setting up. As it got nearer to 7 o'clock the Maitre D' came over a few times to ask how long I was going to be, as if she couldn't see the sweat dripping off me! I managed to be ready for a few minutes past 7 and went to get changed quickly. Shortly after we did the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance which was a track I haven't heard for a long time, Queen - You're My Best Friend.

After the first dance I went straight into the party music with a few Wedding favorites by the Jackson 5, Jackie Wilson and Whitney Houston. The rest of the night went quite smoothly and the only time people stopped dancing for about 20 - 30 minutes was when I called the buffet. All in all an enjoyable night I'm pretty sure was had by all.

Just wanted to send you a quick email to say thank you. Didn't get a chance to say goodbye last night but the we couldn't of asked for better music. So pleased, thanks. See you in another 6 years for my 30th!
