2017 so far…

Great start to the year here at DV Entertainment, we kicked the new year off in Chelmsford with a private party located at our clients house, the theme was a Pyjama party. Great turn out as always as our client hosts regular events, from birthdays to social gatherings. I was hosting on the microphone, building up to the big moment at midnight. As midnight approached, I did the famous countdown from 10, with the traditional ‘old lang syne’ music to see in the new year. Followed by a party mashup, which is always guaranteed to keep people on the dance floor. Essex DJ

Also in January, we hosted an 18th in Reid’s bar Billericay, this was actually on a Thursday, so what better way to start that weekend rather than a RnB themed night to see us into the weekend. Our client didn’t want any chairs in the venue, a very welcome request as this is something many people make the mistake of filling the venue with tables and chairs. All this does is make people way to comfortable, therefore, making it harder to create a party atmosphere, yeah sure a few chairs and tables for your older guests but ultimately we are here for a good time and want to keep people standing when possible.

Mobile DJJust this weekend gone, we returned to Hatfield Peverel Village Hall for a 30th birthday party. We were recommended by one of our previous customers. We arrived at the venue at 6:45pm ready to setup for a 7:30pm start. Guests started to arrive around 8:00pm. We started the night off playing current pop music, this was requested by the birthday girl. Ages of the guests varied, with this in mind I made sure I mixed up the genres to try get all the guests up. At around 10:00pm we sang Happy Birthday.
