This week we were in Margaretting for Aaron & Jodie’s UK wedding reception at the Ivy Hill Hotel.
We had the privilege of DJing Aaron & Jodie’s engagement party back in January this year and were asked back to DJ their UK wedding reception.
We arrived at the venue 30 minutes earlier than planned as we had a phone call to say that they now had guests arriving from 6pm, not long before we were due to leave so we left straight away to be there in time for their guests arrival.
We have done a number of gigs for their family and friends before and know the family quite well. Jodie’s sister is Hollie Butcher who was a contestant on this years The Voice. Hollie sang Aaron & Jodie’s first dance track and later on in the night did a few more numbers and family favourites. They also had Jamie sing a few of the oldies like Buddy Holly & Elvis.
After the live performances, we did our thing and kept the dance floor busy for the rest of the night while trying to get through everyone’s requests.
We got through all of the requests in and I think a good night was had by all.
