This Saturday me and Lee were in Brentwood for Jamie & Sam’s wedding reception at Ashwells Sports & Country Club. 
We arrived at Ashwells at 6pm to setup ready for a 7pm start. They have a section of the room used for the DJs at Ashwells but our rig was slightly too big to fit in normally so we had to adjust a few things for us to be able to fit in comfortably.
We’ve know Jamie & Sam for years and we actually used to DJ with Jamie on pirate radio years ago. It was good to see these two finally tie the not and it was also good to see so many faces that we hadn’t seen for years.
Jamie & Sam had also booked a singer to come in and do a couple of sets. Verna was running a bit late but we helped her setup and we both agreed to use our system later on in the night after she had done her first set outside while everyone was having a BBQ outside.
After the BBQ we all moved inside because of the neighbours and carried the party on inside. We helped Verna back inside and for her second set she used our speakers to save dance floor space.
As usual, we had all of their guests up on the dance floor at one point or another and a good night was had by all.
