This Saturday me and Lee were in Manningtree for Kerri & Lea’s wedding reception at a private venue.
We arrived at the venue with about half an hour to spear as it was a private venue with no real address in the middle of nowhere. We found the venue straight away and was greeted by two young girls who couldn’t be more helpful and even offered us orange juice, sweets and wedding cake!
We got setup with a bit of time to spear so we mingled for a bit and had something to eat and drink.
Just before 8pm we got the nod to do the first dance. Kerri & Lea weren’t too keen on spending too long on their own for the first dance, so they had asked us to invite everyone else to the dance floor after about 30 seconds into the first dance. This is usually a good shout as it gets people up and running and gets the night off to a good start.
Throughout the night we played most genres and got through everyone’s requests which kept the dance floor busy. Kerri & Lea had given us a cheesy playlist to play at the end which went down really well and by that point everyone was in the mood for cheese.
All in all a good night was had by all and we hope to see them again soon.
