This weekend we had a trip up to London to Lord’s Cricket Ground for Mark & Cassie’s wedding. We arrived nice and early to avoid any traffic and to have a chat with one of their guests who recommended us and who is a good friend of 
ours, Lecky. After our chat, we started to unload and set up. The dance floor/evening area was in a partitioned section of the room so we were able to set up while the speeches were on.
We were set up in plenty of time before the speeches had finished. As soon as they had finished the partition was removed and the guests came swarming in. We played about an hour of background music before Mark and Cassie were ready to do the first dance. We played a couple more slow ones after the first dance by request and then picked up the tempo with a few commercial hits.
The night went according to plan and the dance floor was busy throughout the night. Towards the end of the night we were asked to play some Garage classics which went down a treat. After that we slowed it down and had a request to play some UB40 so that one of their guests could MC over the top. He was actually really good and the whole crowd got behind him and ended up doing a few tracks.
All-in-all a good night and left the guests requesting one more. A really nice couple and we hope to see them and their guests again some time soon.
