This Thursday me and Lee were in Bocking for Sam & Jordan’s wedding reception at The Fennes.
We arrived at The Fennes around 7pm to setup ready for a 8pm start. We spoke to Andy the manager who told us that they were running a bit behind schedule and that we had plenty of time to setup.
The Fennes is setup like a marquee but with all the bling of a ballroom. The DJ/dance floor area is at the bottom of the marquee which is curtained off until the first dance. This was ideal for us as they were running behind schedule but meant we could still get in and setup.
We didn’t get going till after 9pm but after the first dance the dance floor filled up quickly and the requests for some 80s started coming in.
Throughout the night we played a good mix as usual and got pretty much everyone up and dancing at some point during the night.
