This Friday me and Lee were in Brentwood for Joe’s 18th birthday party.
We arrived at De Rougement Manor at 6.35pm to setup ready for a 7.30pm start. We were asked to setup in a small space which we couldn’t fit into so we had to adjust our rig slightly to fit into the gap that was left for us.
Joe’s brother had organised an ice sculpture (pictured left) which had a funnel going from the top to the bottom. As you can also see there are bottles of spirits next to it which are poured into the top 
and drank from the bottom, good times!
Joe had asked for mainly house and tech house but we found that it was all the old party classics that got them all on the dance floor to start with. We played a good mix of everything throughout the evening, keeping the dance floor busy.
Not only did Joe’s brother organise the ice sculpture but he also organised Joe a stripper. Joe had no idea what was about to happen. We sat him down on a chair in the middle of the dance floor apparently ready to do the cake. After a few minutes of Joe’s girl friends showing him a good time on the chair, the real stripper came in and put on a proper show for Joe!
